Job summary

CYGNET HEALTH CARE is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Acorn Ward (Female PICU) in Woking to develop, plan and deliver a co-produced activity programme for patients. The role is part-time (28 hours per week) with potential evening/weekend shifts.

You will work with the Nursing Team and OT to ensure meaningful activity, aiming for at least 25 hours of meaningful activity weekly in a safe, occupationally balanced way.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health care field preferred.
• Proactive and motivated to gain work experience in mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, design and deliver a co-produced, personalised activity programme.
• Provide activities to patients across various service lines within the hospital.
• Support Nursing Team with input from Occupational Therapy in delivering meaningful activity.
