Job summary

Vision for Education are looking for a Tutor who can teach Maths and English to students unable to attend education in Trafford. The Tutor will work 1:1 with students with emotional-based school refusal, medical needs or other SEND needs.

The role is long term to provide consistency and help break down barriers to learning, with sessions ranging from one to five hours per day. We offer excellent daily rates paid via PAYE, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), social and networking

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with EHCPs and diverse SEND needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions.
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• A teaching qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths and English sessions 1:1 with students in Trafford.
• Support students with SEND and EHCP-related needs.
• Provide long-term consistency to aid learning progression.
• Plan sessions according to individual student needs and schedules.
