Why this role is important for CPI’swork

CPI has an exciting opportunity for an Impact Manager to join it’s small, agile, and highly motivated impact team; playing apivotal role in embedding the High Value Manufacturing Catapult ( HVMC )’s Impact Evaluation Framework and our Measures of Success into organisational processes and systems, whilst ensuring the effective collection, reporting and analysis of performance and impactdata.

The successful candidate will lead the management of our impact reporting tool, ensuring data integrity and transforming insights into compelling stories that showcase CPI ’s economic, societal, and environmental contributions.

  • Managing CPI ’s impact reporting tool and ensure data validation
  • Meet contractual reporting requirements, including the timely return of KPI claims and associated documents
  • Develop evidence-based case studies and impact summary evaluations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate CPI ’s impact
  • Co-manage the success story pipeline with the Marcommsteam
  • Prepare management reports and support strategic impact communication
  • Deputise for the Director of Impact when required
The person we are seeking

We’re looking for someone who is educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in aBusiness, Economics or Scientific areaand;

  • Has experience working with multiple stakeholders in an R,D & I environment
  • Demonstrates knowledge of impact measurement and innovation ecosystems
  • Has experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Power BI and PowerApps
  • Is able to leverage relationships and connections to drive forward change and new initiatives
  • Is aself-starter who requires minimal supervision and can manage complex environments
  • Is scientifically curious with an ability to translate complex data into digestible insights

It would be great if you alsohad:

  • A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or Economics
  • A wider understanding of the political landscape in which CPI operates
