Job summary

The Manchester Diocesan Board of Finance invites applications for a Project Officer to govern a portfolio of church and community projects in the North West. You will coordinate governance processes, monitor delivery, and prepare bids for additional funding, working with the Strategic Programme Board and stakeholders across parishes, schools and chaplaincies.

You will lead a small team, drive improvement initiatives, and support learning and career development within a values-driven charity.

Qualifications

• An efficient project officer with strong organisational skills and good understanding of governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage governance processes for the project portfolio and develop bids for additional funding opportunities.
• Represent the Strategic Programme Board at meetings within the diocese and beyond.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of a small team and support learning and career development.
