Job summary

Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services is seeking a Finance Officer to support day-to-day financial operations from Phoenix House, Blaina. Reporting to the CEO, you will process invoices, income, bank reconciliations, and help with year-end preparation, ensuring accurate, confidential financial records for a values-led charity.

You will manage purchase and sales ledgers, support budget preparation for new projects, generate finance reports for the Board, and respond to finance queries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finance or bookkeeping role.
• Proficient in MS Office 365.
• Experience of Xero and VAT is desirable.
• Knowledge of GDPR in a charity setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices, expenses and supplier payments.
• Support monthly bank reconciliations and year-end preparation.
• Produce finance reports for the CEO and Board of Trustees.
• Support budgets for new projects and respond to finance queries.
