Contract type: Full Time (37 hours per week), Permanent

Who we are

Futures For All is the largest social mobility charity in the UK. We help to level the playing field between state and independent schools by giving all young people access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools.

We believe that by inspiring young people to explore their ambitions through our speaker programme, facilitating access to multi-day experiences of the world of work, and supporting young people to successfully seize opportunities available to them, then we can make a profound difference to the lives of young people, their future happiness and prosperity.

By 2028, our ambition is that every young person in the UK has access to high quality work experience. Yet today, less than half of young people leave secondary school having had any work experience whatsoever.

Role Summary

The Policy, Research and Impact Directorate ensures that the Charity is evidence-led, impact-focused, and continuously improving the quality of our programmes. The Impact and Insight Officer will work closely with the Senior Impact and Evaluation Advisor to coordinate robust data collection, management, and analysis across all projects. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data integrity, translating quantitative and qualitative findings into accessible reports and presentations, and collaborating with teams across Futures For All to embed evidence-based decision-making into everything we do.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic Purpose:
  • Coordinate the collection, organisation, and management of quantitative and qualitative data across all projects, programmes, and initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic planning and programme improvement.
  • Assist with the timely and accurate execution of impact reports, both quarterly and year-end, to inform evidence-based decision-making and performance against key objectives.
  • Stay up to date with relevant sector research, evaluation methodologies, and policy developments where relevant.
Engagement:
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across internal directorates, including Programmes, Development, Fundraising, and Marketing and Communications.
  • Support teams in interpreting evaluation findings, building data confidence, and using insights to improve programme design.
  • Work alongside the Senior Impact and Evaluation Advisor in collaborating with Marketing and Communications, translating data and evaluation findings into compelling statistics and content for social media, campaigns, and external audiences.
  • Champion best practice in data governance, security, and integrity.
Delivery:
  • Maintain databases and CRM systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate across programmes to support the evaluation process, proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies with delivery teams at source.
  • Continuously develop and implement processes for data validation and verification to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Manage the schedule and production of tailored employer impact reports, translating programme delivery and placement data into polished, client-facing evaluations.
  • Support the Senior Impact and Evaluation Advisor in embedding our Quality Assurance framework across teams, supporting delivery staff to understand benchmarks, adopt quality standards, and act on findings and feedback.
  • Represent and work to our values as an organisation, fostering a culture of positivity, support, respect, and inclusivity, while taking personal responsibility for their attitude, performance, and development.
  • Undertake any other duties as appropriate to this role.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
Essential:
  • 1–2 years’ practical experience in an impact, monitoring, evaluation, or data/insight role (ideally within the charity, education, or public sector).
  • Sound knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, survey design, and data collection tools.
  • Proven ability to clean, manipulate, and analyse complex datasets to uncover actionable trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Strong digital literacy across core tools: working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manage data and track records, PowerPoint/Canva to present insights clearly, and practical experience maintaining CRM systems.
  • Experience drafting clear, accurate reports, dashboards, or presentations tailored for varied audiences.
  • Good understanding of data validation techniques and the importance of maintaining data hygiene and compliance (such as UK GDPR).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across multiple teams and communicate technical findings to colleagues clearly.
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong organisational skills, capable of managing competing priorities and taking ownership of deadlines both independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
