Job summary

University of Birmingham is seeking a focused researcher to support immunology projects in type 1 diabetes. The role involves managing murine colonies, performing in vivo injections and flow cytometry, and applying bioinformatic analyses to study immune responses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage murine colonies (genotyping, diabetes screening)
  • Perform in vivo T cell and splenocyte transfers
  • Conduct flow cytometric experiments and analyses
  • Apply bioinformatic data analysis methods
  • Support project grants and publish research outputs
  • Supervise students and provide guidance on experiments
