Job summary

Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Immunisation Staff Nurse to join the Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth Immunisation Team. This 6‑month fixed-term post is term-time only, with travel across boroughs and a car driver requirement.

Salary is pro rata for term time hours, offering a rewarding frontline role in community and hospital settings. Responsibilities include delivering school-age immunisations, planning sessions, and promoting vaccine uptake while following safety

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with appropriate NMC registration (adult/children).
• GCSEs including English and maths; mentorship training preferred.
• Experience in immunisation delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver School Age Immunisation Programme and influenza vaccines.
• Plan and run immunisation sessions in schools and community venues.
• Promote uptake with parents; follow safety protocols for immunisation.
• Support satellite clinics across the boroughs and travel between locations.
