Job summary

Spire Occupational Health is seeking an Immunisation Nurse (open to a trainee) to deliver immunisation services at the University of Worcester and client sites across the region.

You will gain new qualifications, benefit from mentoring and on-site training within a nationally recognised health group, with opportunities to expand expertise in occupational health, primary care, and travel health.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
• Access to a car and a valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
• Post-registration experience in Immunisations with Adults (is desirable).
• Can evidence an up-to-date BLS & anaphylaxis.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester and other clients.
• Support the team with clinical audits and quality improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within Occupational Health.
• Monitor quality-of-service and identify areas for development.
• Work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum experience dependant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Up to 30 hours a week (4 days)

Essential Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• You will support the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester and other clients.
• Support the team with Clinical audits.
• Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards and participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.
• Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation.
• To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.
