Synergy Personnel Services is partnering with a Top 50 UK law firm to appoint an experienced Immigration Partner in Bristol. You will lead a senior immigration team, advise on corporate immigration for UK and global clients, and drive complex mobility programs.

The role requires a UK-qualified solicitor with 10+ PQE, strong leadership, and a track record in business development. A strategic, client-centric approach and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential.

Immigration Partner – Top 50 Law Firm

Location: Bristol

Salary: Highly Competitive £120K to £500K + Excellent Benefits

We are partnering with a highly respected Top 50 UK law firm to appoint an experienced Immigration Partner to join their expanding practice. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a senior immigration specialist to play a key role in a firm known for its strong commercial presence and outstanding client service.

The Role

As a senior leader in the immigration practice, you will be instrumental in managing and developing a high-performing team while continuing to build the firm's profile across key sectors. You will advise UK and multinational businesses on the full spectrum of corporate immigration matters and act as a strategic contact for global mobility issues.

  • Acting as a central contact point and project lead for global mobility requirements
  • Providing business visitor advice tailored to client-specific needs
  • Advising on Indefinite Leave to Remain and citizenship applications
  • Supporting clients with sponsor licence compliance, including mock audits, right to work checks, HR systems and penalty avoidance
  • Guiding clients through licence maintenance during M&A activity, TUPE transfers, suspensions, and potential revocations
  • Assisting UK businesses with obtaining and maintaining sponsor licences to enable the hiring of non-UK nationals
  • Advising on Skilled Worker, Intra-company Transfer, and Points-Based System applications for staff and family members
  • Providing strategic, post-Brexit immigration advice, including EU Settlement Scheme applications and policy direction
About You

You will be a senior UK-qualified solicitor (likely 10+ PQE) with a proven track record in corporate immigration law. You will ideally have:

  • A portable client following or strong business development credentials
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior lawyers
  • Commercial acumen and a solutions-focused approach
  • A collaborative mindset with the ambition to grow an already thriving team
  • Experience advising HR and legal departments at a strategic level
