A legal firm in Tyne and Wear is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to provide legal support in immigration cases, including asylum and visa matters. Key Responsibilities:
  • The appointed paralegal will provide comprehensive legal support in immigration cases, advising clients on asylum, visa extensions, appeals, and other matters, from the initial stage through representation at immigration tribunals.
  • The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Level 2 immigration caseworker and be responsible for preparing and submitting applications, statements, and supporting documents.
  • Advocacy experience would be ideal but not required, and you should have a strong understanding of immigration law and legal processes, the ability to manage a high caseload and multiple matters, and excellent communication and organisational skills.
