Job description

Immigration Consultant, Business Mobility Services

As part of Amazon's Business Mobility Services (BMS) team, which manages global immigration processes for Amazonians and their families, we are seeking an Immigration Consultant to manage end-to-end case management of H-1B and PERM processes. This role ensures compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations while focusing on comprehensive H-1B case processing, including cap filings, extensions, amendments, Requesting for further Evidence (RFE), and Labor Condition Application (LCA) compliance. The role is expected to support PERM recruitment and filings along with other case types based on volumes and requirements. The role would be expected to work closely with the US Immigration strategy team, HR, and employees. There will be tactical responsibilities such as tracking of cases, working on process steps within the in-house case management systems and maintaining compliance records.

Key job responsibilities

You may also be required to handle LCA postings, compliance reviews, and audit documentation while providing case updates to employees and HR partners.

Additionally, you will support PERM processing, including recruitment steps, job postings, documentation collection, and case tracking. You will ensure all filings comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes. Using case management tools, you will track case progress, generate reports, and identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience handling high-volume immigration cases are essential. Prior experience with I-140, L-1, and Adjustment of Status is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for an immigration professional to play a key role in Amazon’s global mobility strategy, ensuring smooth and compliant operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
