Immigration Consultant

Contract: 12 month fixed-term contract

Team: Consular & Document Practice (CADP)

Office Location: London or Sheffield, UK

The role:

Reporting to a Manager or Supervising Paralegal, this role will assist in case processing (reviewing and preparing forms, support letters, and Firm correspondence) and help maintain case files within the team. They will manage a moderate caseload under supervision.

What your day will look like:

  • Perform case intake and ensure correct setup on Connect
  • Prepare petition-based US immigration cases, including legal drafting for family and business immigration
  • Handle US consular cases, including visa matters
  • Maintain client contact information
  • Update Associates on case progress, manage expectations, and communicate conflicting priorities or capacity issues
  • Take on additional projects as needed

The Fragomen Consular Practice team provides US immigration assistance for various cases, focusing on client-centric, efficient, and collaborative service, supporting diverse clients worldwide.

  • Strong professional relationships with team members, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency
  • Ability to plan workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while considering client expectations and service standards
  • Accurate work style with attention to detail
