Job summary

Harper Adams University is seeking an Immigration Compliance and Assurance Manager to lead the university’s immigration compliance and sponsor assurance efforts. You will advise across HR, Admissions, Registry Services and the University Secretary’s Office to ensure UKVI licence obligations are understood, embedded and managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent through relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience of UK immigration compliance within Higher Education.
• Strong track record in audit, quality assurance or regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures and delivering training, guidance and advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university’s immigration compliance and sponsor assurance function across HR, Admissions, Registry Services and other offices.
• Develop and oversee the immigration compliance framework including monitoring, auditing, risk management, policy and governance, and training.
• Maintain audit and inspection readiness; coordinate responses to regulatory reviews and compliance findings; provide assurance reporting to senior management.
• Provide specialist advice on complex compliance matters; support Sponsor Management System operations; build institutional capability and culture of immigration compliance.
