We are looking for:

Immersive Technologist (Education & Simulation Design)

Salary: £28,786 - £30,690

The Role:

Are you passionate about the cutting edge of digital innovation? Do you dream in 3D, think in VR, and live for immersive experiences? Oldham College is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Immersive Technologist to revolutionise how we teach and learn.

In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of integrating Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and game-based learning into our curriculum. You'll collaborate with educators to design and deliver unforgettable digital experiences that boost engagement, creativity, and employability for our learners.

Requirements:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing immersive or interactive digital projects.
  • Proficiency in Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar XR tools.
  • A degree in Games Design, Immersive Media, XR Development, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving, UX design awareness, and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in education and digital learning environments.
