Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking Warehouse Operatives at Preston Brook to join a fast-paced team handling flat-pack furniture and white goods. The role involves picking, loading and sorting, with hands-on MHE operation and rigorous safety standards.

The position offers ongoing hours with the potential for permanent progression, and immediate starts are available for suitable candidates who pass the required drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• PPT, LLOP or Reach truck experience is essential.
• Ability to carry out repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
• Comfortable working with large and bulky items such as furniture and white goods.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Picking and loading products using handheld scanners.
• Operating MHE such as PPT or Reach trucks.
• Manually sorting flat‑pack furniture and white goods for dispatch to designated destinations.
• Conducting basic quality checks on products before dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.
