Job summary

Morwell Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a short-term temporary assignment in the Llansamlet area. You will join a small finance team, processing supplier invoices and supporting daily purchase ledger duties.

This role is office-based, full-time, with immediate start, £15.00 per hour plus holiday pay, and requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to pick up new finance systems quickly.
• Confident and proactive approach to work.
• Good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing supplier payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Responding to supplier queries.
• Assisting with general purchase ledger administration.
• Ensuring invoices and payments are processed within agreed timescales.
• Supporting the wider finance team as required.
