Immediate Start Sprayer Operator job - Cambridgeshire

We are a progressive arable farm based near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire and farm approximately 5000 acres of combinable crops. We are looking for a primary operator for our John Deere 975i trailed sprayer.

Other general arable duties will be required as necessary including cultivations and hedge cutting.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated for this full time, permanent position.

The successful candidate:

• A good all-rounder and able to work to high standards, without supervision
• PA1 & PA2 and knowledge of GPS are essential
• PA4 would be advantageous (training for PA4 can be given)
• Forklift certificate an advantage
• Must be an efficient operator, looking to maximize output
• Must be able to work well under pressure when the workload is high
• Attention to detail, a clean and tidy approach, politeness, and complete respect for machinery are a must

The job also requires flexibility with working hours to fit in the spraying according to weather conditions.
