Job summary

PERTEMPS is supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Staines. The role is temporary with a pay rate of £13.69 per hour and 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekend availability. Shifts run 8am-3pm and tasks include sorting, loading, and delivering mail.

Customer service is essential as you work outdoors, with duties including route navigation and signature capture on a handheld device.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently outdoors.
• Strong time management and reliability for a 37-hour week.
• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean licence preferred)
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle; walking up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg; use trolleys when needed.
