Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Stroud for a temporary, full-time role. Shifts run 1pm–8pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability; 35 hours per week at £13.69 per hour.

Duties include sorting, loading mail, and delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle, with outdoor work daily. A Full UK manual driving licence is required (6 points max preferred) and previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused delivery role requiring reliability and good time management.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Holds a Full UK manual driving licence with minimal points and at least 6 months' experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle as required.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Maintain safety and efficiency during daily rounds.
