Randstad CPE in Crawley is seeking a reliable General Labourer for a short-term cover on a live construction site in Copthorne, Crawley, West Sussex.

The contract runs for 1 week with hours 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and pay is £14.00–£15.50 per hour. Suitable candidates will hold a CSCS card and full PPE and be able to start on Friday, 9th October 2026.

This role is ideal for someone looking for immediate work and willing to commit to the full week, with weekly pay options via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above) essential.
• Full PPE: steel toe-cap boots, high-vis jacket/vest, hard hat, gloves.
• Previous general site labouring experience.
• Hard-working, punctual, and reliable with a solid work ethic.
• Available to commit to the full 1-week duration starting Friday, 9th October.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades with general manual handling and daily tasks.
• Unloading vehicles and moving construction materials safely.
• Sweeping, clearing rubbish, and keeping routes clear.
• Assisting with skip loading and general site maintenance.
• Following site health and safety guidelines and wearing full PPE at all times.
