Job summary

Pertemps Leicester Industrial is recruiting a Class 1 ADR Driver for a full-time, temporary position based in Bardon. You will operate modern HGV Class 1 vehicles, transporting hazardous materials with strict ADR compliance. Daily duties include vehicle checks, cargo paperwork, and secure loading.

Regular weekday shifts with weekly pay and immediate starts for eligible candidates. Eligibility includes a clean driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC, tachograph, and strong route-planning skills.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Current ADR certificate for packages and/or tanks.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph card is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ADR regulations and transport law.
• Experience driving HGV Class 1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport ADR-regulated goods following current regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with transport planners, customers and sites.
• Secure loads and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
