Pertemps Leicester is seeking an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join the Coalville operation. You will drive HGV Class 1 vehicles, transport ADR-regulated goods, and comply with ADR regulations and company procedures.

Role involves daily vehicle checks, accurate paperwork, and adherence to Driver Hours regulations. Weekend work and overtime may be available with a supportive transport team.

About the Role

An established transport and logistics operator is seeking experienced Class 1 ADR Drivers to join its professional driving team based in Coalville. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous goods, ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations and company procedures. The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport ADR-regulated goods in accordance with current legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure all delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately.
• Adhere to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and site personnel.
• Secure loads correctly and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
• Current ADR Certificate (packages and/or tanks as required).
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of transport legislation and ADR regulations.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
