Job description

We are immediately seeking Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Management team in the Salisbury, NC area!

Job Title: Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and NO on-call!
Pay Rate: $18 - 20/hr *based on experience* - PAID WEEKLY

Responsibilities as a Tech:

  • Possess strong experience in the following tasks:
    • Plumbing: sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
    • Electrical: replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge of proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable
    • Carpentry: patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
    • Appliances: help with the installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs
  • Ensure all work orders and turns are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs and report back findings to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance

Requirements:

  • EPA - HVAC - CPO certification is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in property management—apartments, hotels, or residential
  • Must have personal hand tools and drill—bring to the site daily; do not leave at the property
  • Must have reliable transportation—attendance and punctuality are imperative
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
