Immediate Justice Charge Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Immediate Justice Charge Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves acting as a dedicated decision-maker to ensure all appropriate referrals are received. Please note, this position does not include line management responsibilities.

Using your experience, you will collaborate with partner agencies to ensure Out of Court Resolutions (OOCRs) are implemented appropriately, keeping victims at the center of your approach. You will review incidents suitable for intervention and promote scheme use among officers of all ranks, providing advice as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Ensuring all officers understand Immediate Justice and OOCR processes.
2. Collaborating with our service provider to ensure the smooth running of the project.
3. Reducing inappropriate cases submitted for prosecution and identifying early opportunities to use OOCRs.

The Must Haves

1. Hold a GCSE (Grade C/4 or above) in English Language and Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification, or have relevant experience.
2. Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel across the force area.
3. Experience working with external agencies.
