Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IMI-qualified Panel Technician for a busy bodyshop in Crewe. The role focuses on repairing accident-damaged vehicle bodywork to pre-accident condition and high standards.

Offer includes a competitive salary (£49,275 - £56,314 per annum), Monday to Friday, full-time permanent employment, ongoing training, and modern facilities with long-term career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

IMI qualification in Vehicle Body Repair / Panel Technician is required.
Proven experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician.
Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out high-quality panel repairs on a range of vehicles.
Assess accident damage and determine the appropriate repair method.
Repair, replace and align damaged body panels.
Carry out welding and structural repairs where required.
Use specialist bodyshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Ensure vehicle panels are correctly aligned and fitted.
Work closely with MET Technicians and Paint Technicians throughout the repair process.
Complete all repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
