Job summary

FMG RS is seeking a Senior IMI Panel Technician for our Stockport workshop. You will join a team handling Paint, Panel, and MET tasks, with strong links to insurance and OEM partners. A full UK driving licence is required, and qualifications to IMI Level 3 or equivalent are preferred.

The role offers an excellent salary, uncapped monthly bonuses, and extensive benefits within a growing group. This position is based in Stockport with excellent transport links to Manchester.

Qualifications

• Panel/Body repair qualifications required (C&G/NVQ/IMI) at IMI Level 3 or equivalent.
• Full UK Manual Driving licence required.
• Panel technician experience in a workshop environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform panel repair and body repair tasks with quality and efficiency.
• Work within a busy workshop focused on insurance partners and fleet vehicles.

Salary: up to £23.00 per hour + uncapped time saved bonus (OTE circa £60k+)

The workshop in Stockport has a team made up of Paint, Panel, and MET Technicians and a great admin support team. With excellent transport links to Central Manchester and great local retail/lunch facilities. Most of our work in Stockport, is for our insurance partners/Hi-Tech/Prestige Accredited OEM Partners, supporting our Northgate Vehicle Hire sister company with LCV fleet/Hybrid or EV Fleet

If you are a proven Panel Technician, Panel Beater, Body Repair Technician, Body Repairer, or Bodyshop Technician and are currently seeking the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you! Ideally qualified to C&G / NVQ / IMI / IMI level 3 in Panel / Body Repair. You will also require a full UK Manual Driving licence
