Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy workshop in Canterbury, and they are currently looking for an experienced IMI-qualified MET Technician to join their growing team.
This role will focus on the mechanical, electrical and trim aspects of vehicle repair, working alongside a wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on a range of vehicles
Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components
Diagnose faults and identify additional repair requirements
Complete strip and refit work to manufacturer and industry standards
Work closely with body repair technicians and other workshop staff
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
IMI qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience as an MET Technician / MET Fitter / Vehicle Technician
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Previous experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment is highly desirable
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving Licence
£22 - £24 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working
