Job description

Scope and Purpose

• Undertake banker role for FI clients with the ability to have strategy discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Drive selected client relationships with stakeholders on the client side for a designated portfolio.
• Liaise laterally and vertically with stakeholders, peers, and juniors to foster client dialogue, owning the relationship with the client.
• Identify and pursue cross-buy opportunities.
• Support transaction execution where appropriate.
• Assist in preparing commercial and credit committee applications.
• Organize and coordinate internal deal teams to facilitate origination.

Required Experience

10+ years of experience in the banking industry with markets and/or relationship exposure.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven extensive network of FI client relationships and established business origination skills in a financial services institution.
• Knowledge of Financial Markets products.
• Background in Credit products.
• Understanding of the regulatory framework, requirements, and expectations.
• Strong skills in building relationships with clients and client origination.
• Experience managing relationships with Financial Institutions, NBFIs, and HNWIs.
