Prince is recruiting on behalf of their prestigious manufacturing client in Telford who is looking to hire a skilled and experienced IMEX Lead. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IMEX, compliance, and implementing IMEX processes. This role oversees the IMEX function to support transportation activities, including shipping, receiving, transaction recording, and compliance.

The IMEX Lead will be responsible for:

  • Managing import and export of goods and transportation processes
  • Ensuring compliance of all import/export documentation with regulations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external partners
  • Collaborating with internal departments to meet business and customer targets
  • Overseeing IMEX audits internally and externally
  • Liaising with suppliers for accurate delivery
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Training staff on legal compliance
  • Preparing job instructions and SOPs

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous IMEX experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in managing and implementing IMEX processes is ESSENTIAL
  • Knowledge of various IMEX documentation
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Suitable for candidates who have worked as IMEX Coordinator, Controller, Lead, or Manager
