Job summary

Varex Imaging UK, Limited is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans for high-energy cargo inspection systems. You will support system testing, setup and troubleshooting, and collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure safety and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics, 2-5 years of experience in system-level testing, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and review test plans for high-energy cargo inspection systems and subsystems.
• Perform system testing in compliance with test plans while maintaining radiation safety.
• Aid in setup, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of hardware/software for testing.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware, software, and regulatory teams to improve system performance.
• Document, organize, and present system test results.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product improvement.
• Assist in V&V activities as part of NPI and Product Lifecycle Management.
