Position: Imaging Scientist

Requirements for Imaging Scientist:
  • Ph.D. in Optics, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields (Masters + commercial experience acceptable)
  • Relevant commercial work experience preferred
  • Expertise in multi-spectral imaging, radiometry, and light reflection modelling
  • Proficiency in Python & MATLAB
  • Enjoyment of working in an R&D environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Process and analyze spectral data to extract valuable information
  • Determine material composition from spectral signals based on reflectance characteristics
  • Design and implement algorithms for image processing, spectral analysis, and material identification
  • Conduct lab experiments to verify imaging system accuracy
  • Collaborate with R&D team to integrate spectral imaging insights into projects
  • Document procedures and communicate findings effectively
