A healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a candidate to support Radiology's quality and governance objectives. The role involves managing accreditation processes, leading the quality agenda, and providing strong leadership within the department. Ideal candidates should have experience in healthcare accreditation and an ability to respond to governance issues effectively.
Are you looking for a new challenge and want to help support Radiology with their quality and governance objectives?
Then this could be the role for you. Covering all UHD sites and working across all modalities, supporting the accreditation process (QSI) as well as our managers to deliver a quality service.
Radiology is a welcoming department, keen to improve and provide a quality service. This position is instrumental in achieving this ambition.
To manage and supervise the accreditation processes (QSI) in the radiology services, carrying out the required management and leadership tasks to support the accreditation processes.
To take responsibility for the service’s QSI implementation and accreditation programme, as delegated by the Head of Imaging Services.
To lead in the development and advancement of the department’s quality agenda, emphasising the implementation of evidence-based knowledge into practice in consultation with the service leads.
Respond promptly as required to complaints and incidents, develop and participate in appropriate investigations and action plans in line with clinical governance.
Our values define who we are as #TeamUHD. They underpin everything we do now and in the future. They define how we treat our patients, visitors, and each other, our valued teammates and colleagues.
UHD is investing in services across the Trust, with many being transformed and developed following merger and the New Hospital Programme.
This means that some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or long-term. Recruiting managers interviewing for this role will be happy to answer any specific questions at interview.
Please note, if a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under relevant Trust or national terms and conditions.
