Job summary

Spire Liverpool Hospital in Liverpool (UK) is recruiting an experienced Radiology Manager to lead the Imaging Department. The role oversees General X-ray, theatres, MRI, CT and ultrasound, reports to the Director of Clinical Services, and requires strategic leadership.

You will develop staff, manage resources, ensure compliance with IRMER, and drive continuous improvement in patient care, safety and governance.

Qualifications

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent required.
• Significant post-qualification experience as Senior Radiographer/Team Leader.
• Experience leading radiology teams to deliver high-quality services.
• Strong knowledge of IRMER regulations and radiology governance.
• Experience with RIS/PACS and IEP systems management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Imaging Department as Head of Department under the Director of Clinical Services.
• Inspire and manage radiology team, plan and allocate tasks.
• Ensure clinical governance, audit, and safe, efficient staffing.
• Develop processes to meet patient needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budgets and resources for imaging services.
