Job summary

New Victoria Hospital, part of the Bupa group, is seeking an Imaging Assistant to support Radiologists, Radiographers and multidisciplinary teams. You will help with patient journeys, imaging procedures, equipment preparation and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You'll carry out clinical and administrative tasks, ensure infection control, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Imaging Department.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience carrying out basic nursing or clinical support tasks.
• At least 1 year's experience in healthcare, hospital or similar clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of Imaging Department across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Interventional Imaging services.
• Prepare imaging rooms, equipment and patient lists for clinics and procedures.
• Welcome and support patients throughout imaging appointments, ensuring a positive experience.
• Assist Radiographers and Radiologists during imaging procedures and clinics.
• Record patient observations and support with clinical tasks including safety screening.
• Maintain infection prevention, cleanliness, health and safety, and patient confidentiality.
