NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a motivated Imaging Assistant for the Medical Imaging department at University Hospital Ayr. The role involves supporting radiologists and radiographers and delivering high standards of patient care.

You should have SVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, strong communication skills, and be prepared to work across seven days; there is potential to progress from Band 2 to Band 3 after Imaging Assistant Competency Framework completion.

Qualifications

• SVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computing skills for administration tasks.

Responsabilités

• Support radiologists and radiographers in patient care.
• Assist in monitoring patients and supporting the department routines.
• Assist with intravenous cannulation after training.
