Job Overview

We are seeking hardworking individuals to join our friendly and diverse team as Imaging Assistants in the Radiology Department at Nottingham University Hospitals. The role involves working in CT and X-ray across our sites, with shifts between 8am and midnight, including 12-hour shifts during some periods.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting patients, preparing them for examinations, and ensuring their needs, privacy, and dignity are met.
  • Assisting the clinical team to deliver high-standard care.
  • Providing clinical support to ensure the smooth running of the Radiology Department.
  • Supporting various services such as fracture clinics, obstetric scanning, biopsies, and minor procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • Approachable and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential; full induction and training will be provided.
Additional Information

Work within CT and X-ray departments at QMC, City Hospital, and the Treatment Centre, with opportunities to work at the new Community Diagnostic Centre in Nottingham. The role is full-time, 7 days a week, with hours between 8am and midnight, depending on the rota.
