Job summary

Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is seeking an Imaging Assistant/Healthcare Assistant to join our Radiology team. The role is permanent, full-time, based at Ipswich Hospital, with responsibilities in ultrasound and interventional imaging, plus administrative duties.

You will interact with patients, support radiologists, and contribute to high-quality care. We value dedicated staff with NVQ qualifications and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Experience supporting radiology procedures is an advantage.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Imaging Assistant/Healthcare Assistant

Ipswich Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Full-Time

Up to £28,100 per annum depending on experience

As a Healthcare Assistant in Radiology at our Ipswich Hospital, you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You will have face to face contact with patients and will be providing assistance to the radiologists during procedures. This mainly involves procedures in Ultrasound and Intervention. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you're qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that's even better.

As a Imaging Assistant/HCA, you will:
