Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is seeking an Imaging Assistant/Healthcare Assistant to support radiology teams, mainly Ultrasound and Interventional procedures. You’ll provide patient care, assist radiologists, and handle administrative tasks.

The role suits someone with NVQ Level 2 or 3 and experience in an acute hospital or care setting, with strong telephone manner, computer and database skills, and a patient‑focused approach.

Imaging Assistant/Healthcare Assistant Ipswich Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Full-Time Up to £28,100 per annum depending on experience Nuffield Health is the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. As a Healthcare Assistant in Radiology at our Ipswich Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You will have face to face contact with patients and will be providing assistance to the radiologists during procedures. This mainly involves procedures in Ultrasound and Intervention. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.
