Job summary

New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a Patient Service Advisor for the Imaging Department. You will be the first point of contact for patients, consultants and referrers, handling bookings, information, and enquiries with professionalism in a busy healthcare setting.

• Strong administrative and appointment booking experience.
• Computer literate with confidence using multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service for patients attending the Imaging Department.
• Accurately book appointments and examinations, ensuring patients are scheduled with the appropriate clinician and receive relevant preparation information.
• Manage a high volume of telephone and email enquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
• Register patients on arrival and liaise with clinical teams to facilitate their appointment.
• Provide quotations, process payments and respond to patient, consultant and referrer queries.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of Imaging procedures and associated preparation requirements.
• Support the effective administration of Imaging services using booking and patient management systems.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
• Promote New Victoria Hospital’s services and always uphold exceptional customer service standards.
