An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admin team lead to join the Imaging Department based at Whipps Cross Hospital. This post is a managerial role to oversee day-to-day troubleshooting with Imaging supervisors, reception, and scheduling teams.


The role requires to delegate and supervise waiting lists spanning across various imaging modalities including CT, MRI, Dexa, GP Xray, Interventional Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and Dexa.
The successful post holder needs to be confident and clear communicator possessing excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills with extensive experience in a senior admin lead role. We also require you to have detailed knowledge of administrative procedures and be able to prioritize and plan your own work efficiently.


The candidate will also need to have previous experience and knowledge of national diagnostic, referral to treat (RTT) and DM01 waiting times knowledge and experience of pathway validation.
The person will need to have experience of working within a similar scheduling environment and have strong proven knowledge of hospital patient systems; CRS, EPR, Sectra RISe/PACS.
The post holder will engage with staff at all levels of seniority and therefore will need to demonstrate effective influencing and persuading behaviors to ensure that deadlines are met. They will also be the main point of contact for a wide range of staff, external stakeholders and organisations and must ensure that a professional image of the Trust is always maintained.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for management of healthroster administration duties to ensure staff rosters are accurate, EWTD compliance is maintained. You will be expected to appropriately manage confidential, complex, and sensitive information, exercising discretion, and always upholding high professional and ethical standards.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable setting and meeting challenging deadlines and understand the purpose and functioning of governance structures and how they drive improvement and assurance.   • GCSE English or equivalent experience/ qualification
