Job summary

A leading Defence & Security organisation is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in Barrow-in-Furness. The role involves business intelligence analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and documentation of business processes. Candidates must have experience in the Defence sector and strong analytical skills. This position is open only to Sole British Nationals.

Our client, a leading organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an IM&T Practitioner - Business Analysis to join their Submarine Solutions team under a six-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing business intelligence to gather insights and inform decision making
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to business processes and systems
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending solutions
  • Providing support for data analysis and reporting activities
  • Participating in the development and implementation of business solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the delivery of projects within the Submarine Solutions programme

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in business intelligence and analysis within the Defence sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in relevant data analysis tools and software
  • Experience with business process documentation and improvement
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Capability to work effectively in both a team and independently
