The Post:

The core purpose of the Digital & Security organisation is the provision of world class Digital and Security expertise, solutions and services to our customers, which include NSS, NHS Boards, Scottish Government and the wider Public Sector in Scotland.

As an IM&T Technician you are the face of internal general technical support within NSS. You will support hardware, software and systems, triaging when necessary to specialist support teams, building networks of contacts, managing onboarding and offboarding of members of staff as well as creating and managing incidents and requests to completion.

The Candidate:

Applications are invited from individuals who are educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. IT Technical Support / Systems Administration).

Location and Working Pattern:

This post can be based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.

Currently hybrid working.

The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
