The core purpose of the Digital & Security organisation is to provide world-class Digital and Security expertise, solutions, and services to our customers, including NSS, NHS Boards, Scottish Government, and the wider Public Sector in Scotland.
As an IM&T Technician, you will be the face of internal general technical support within NSS. Your responsibilities include supporting hardware, software, and systems; triaging issues to specialist support teams; building networks of contacts; managing onboarding and offboarding of staff; and creating and managing incidents and requests to completion.
Applications are invited from individuals educated to Degree level or with equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT Technical Support / Systems Administration).
This post can be based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh, or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently, hybrid working arrangements are in place. The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. It is a requirement that you reside within the UK for the duration of employment with NSS.
