Job title:Integration Logistics Service Project Manager

Location:Warton or Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683

What you'll be doing:

  • Report on ILS performance for relevant contracts against Key KPIs via Capability Programmes and Performance Reviews
  • Interrogate spend data provided by Project Controls and collate commentary of Spend vs Performance
  • Ensure that ILS projects have a robust Estimated Actual Cost based on cumulative performance against your baseline plan
  • Create, manage and maintain accurate level 2 plans/schedules for all contracted work
  • Implement planning assumptions & changes for future work on all key event deliverables
  • Highlight to Product Engineering Manager where Supply & Demand issues may affect key event deliverables

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Proven ability to manage risk and uncertainty in complex programmes, applying structured approaches to anticipate challenges, mitigate potential issues, and adapt to dynamic environments
  • Skilled in building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment beyond the core project team to support strategic programme outcomes
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset, promoting teamwork and information sharing across multidisciplinary teams to enhance cohesion and productivity
  • Proficient in developing and managing project timelines, critical paths, and phased delivery plans to ensure projects meet key milestones and deadlines efficiently
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including MS Project for scheduling, Excel with Macros and Pivot Tables for data analysis and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and streamlined programme tracking

Desirable:

  • Prince 2 or APM qualified

The Service & Support Delivery Team:

A unique and interesting opportunity has arisen within Service & Support Delivery Unit (Air Sector) for a Project Manager to operate within Fast Jet Support, focussing on the delivery for the Integrated Logistic Service. This will involve complex stakeholder management interfaces across Fast Jet Support utilising of PM skills to generate effective plans & drive efficiencies to meet a challenging milestone plan & recurring KPI's.
