What the day will look like / Major responsibilities:

1. Presentation creation: develop and refine clear and articulate client offerings, including outstanding market analyses
2. Develop and refine financial models for the evaluation of certain securities transactions
3. Project management: assist in structuring and placing catastrophe bonds or other insurance securitizations
4. Transaction documentation review
5. Support cross functional strategic projects and represent Aon Securities as a reliable partner and constant innovator in industry meetings, conferences and client presentations
6. Maintain a comprehensive view of the market to educate and liaise with Aon colleagues and potential clients
7. Maintain market database information and create tools to communicate Aon's market views
8. Develop deep knowledge of the overall insurance and reinsurance industry.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

1. 2 to 5 years insurance linked securities, property reinsurance and / or debt capital markets experience
2. Strong understanding of financial concepts, analytics, math and statistics
3. Ability to flourish in a small, high pressure and intense work environment
4. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required, and experience with stochastic modelling concepts and output is preferred
5. Experience manipulating and representing data sets
6. Knowledge of and interest in the (re)insurance market, capital markets and understanding of the concepts and trends in the global financial markets
7. Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to write and deliver clear, concise and coherent presentations and written responses to Requests for Proposals
