Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an independent, organised administrator to join the busy Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) team in Cambridge. You will provide high-quality administrative support to a multidisciplinary team, prioritising tasks to ensure timely patient journeys and efficient clinic coordination.
The role involves coordinating electronic notes, letters, referrals, and documentation, with liaison to clinical and non-clinical staff.

This is a busy role based with the ILD team. Our specialist clinicians support and treat patients with ILD. There is a positive and supportive culture within the department and the whole team works hard to ensure new members receive a warm welcome.

This role involves providing a high quality, patient focused, efficient and complete administrative to the Multidisciplinary team within the Thoracic and Ambulatory Directorate. There will be particular responsibility to proactively monitor and track patient pathways in order to ensure that patient journeys are processed in a timely and efficient manner in line with nationally and locally defined targets. The post holder will liaise with senior clinical and non-clinical staff both internally and externally.
The post holder will need to prioritise tasks to provide a patient focused, high quality, efficient and complete administrative support service.
There is a need to work as an effective team member to deliver a high-quality administration support.
The post holder will need to provide a co-ordinated but flexible approach to the organisation of patient's electronic notes, letters, referrals, and documentation.
The post involves working within a multi-disciplinary team including clinicians, managers, and other administrative staff in a professional manner in written, verbal, and electronic formats.
