Overview

What will you be doing as a Van Driver?

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 Tonne Van in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured
• Providing a first-class customer service experience
• This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting; you must be physically able to lift items
• Delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role
• Permanent, full-time position

Requirements

• Valid in-date driving licence
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a multi-drop role is advantageous but not essential
• DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
• Physically able to lift items
