The position is primarily responsible for designing and improving manufacturing systems through sensing, data acquisition, and utilization to enhance productivity, product quality, and business feedback. The IIoT Architect establishes frameworks that support effective development, testing, and optimization in the digital environment, integrating input from real-world processes or systems.

The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes within an organization in a data-driven manner.

This position requires strong collaboration with IT and the newly formed Digital Strategy Group (DSG) team to define and implement appropriate data governance for manufacturing data acquisition processes.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Management, IT, or equivalent preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and products.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
