Are you an experienced Ignition SCADA Engineer? Do you have experience delivering projects within the automation sector? Clear Engineering is working closely with a fast-growing building automation company operating entirely within the Data Centre sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering and delivery of Data Centre control systems projects, from specification through to handover, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Program and configure PLC (Allen-Bradley) and Ignition SCADA to monitor and control HVAC, power, and environmental systems.
• Integrate third-party systems using open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP to ensure seamless operation within the wider Data Centre infrastructure.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design intent, project milestones, and integration strategies.

Experience Required:

• 3-5+ years of experience in building automation, control systems engineering, or BMS/EMS design and commissioning—preferably within critical environments.
• Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with graphical interface configuration, I/O setup, and logic programming.
• Practical knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider) and DDC systems, with the ability to write and troubleshoot control logic.
• BEng/HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Automation, or a related field.
